Practice Description

Jennifer Bergh represents industry clients in state and federal court. She represents financial institutions and a national consumer reporting agency against fair credit reporting litigation, with a focus on bankruptcy issues.Jennifer also defends creditors’ rights inBankruptcy matters such as Chapter 7, 11, and 13 as well as all aspects of financial services litigation.

Representative Experience

Regularly evaluates and provides guidance to clients regarding the FCRA and various state consumer protection laws.

Represents financial institutions, debt collectors and a national consumer reporting agency in various jurisdictions throughout the country.

Represents financial institutions and debt collectors against a range of claims, including wrongful foreclosure, fraud, breach of contract, and Deceptive Trade Practices Act violations.

Negotiates effective loss mitigation solutions including short sales, loan modifications, and deeds-in-lieu of foreclosure.

Represents creditors on collection of secured and unsecured debt. Represents national automobile finance companies in consumer and commercial financial services litigation.
