Practice Description
Melvin Thathiah is an experienced attorney who has been practicing for over 17 years. He knows how to handle cases from various areas of law. Mr. Thathiah has worked for small and large firms and was a solo practitioner for 7 years. He has tried hundreds of bench and jury trials in multiple areas of law across the state of Texas. Mr. Thathiah was appointed and sworn into the bench in 2015 to be an Associate Judge for the Justice of the Peace Courts in Collin County. He heard examining trials, truancy matters, small claims, debt claims, and evictions.
Currently Mr. Thathiah is concentrating his practice on consumer financial litigation with a focus on the Fair Credit Reporting Act and compliance issues. Mr. Thathiah strives to be an attorney guided by providing the best service he can to his clients.
