Samin Agha is a shareholder whose practice focuses on consumer financial services litigation, creditor rights, and complex commercial disputes. He represents financial institutions, credit reporting agencies, financial services companies, credit unions, and other businesses in state and federal courts across the country.

Mr. Agha has significant experience defending claims arising under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and state consumer protection laws. His practice includes defending individual and complex consumer claims involving credit reporting, credit disputes and investigations, debt collection, and other consumer financial services issues. He also counsels financial institutions and businesses regarding compliance, litigation risk, and developing issues under federal and state consumer finance laws.

Mr. Agha also maintains an active creditor-rights practice representing credit unions and other financial institutions in disputes involving secured and unsecured debt. His experience includes repossession and recovery of collateral, writs of sequestration and other provisional remedies, deficiency claims, bankruptcy-related disputes, judgment enforcement, and post-judgment collection. He regularly works with financial institutions to develop practical strategies for protecting and recovering collateral while efficiently pursuing amounts owed.

In addition to his financial services practice, Mr. Agha represents corporations, partnerships, and individuals in complex commercial litigation. His experience includes breach-of-contract and business disputes, tortious interference claims, real estate disputes, unpaid accounts and receivables, and other complex civil matters.

Mr. Agha represents clients throughout all stages of litigation, from pre-suit counseling and early case assessment through discovery, dispositive motions, mediation, trial, appeal, and post-judgment proceedings. He approaches litigation with an emphasis on developing strategies that advance the client’s immediate legal objectives while accounting for the practical and business considerations that ultimately drive the dispute.
