Quilling, Selander, Lownds, Winslett & Moser with 63 attorneys in offices in Dallas and Plano, Texas, has significantly enhanced both offices by adding consumer financial litigation and transportation practice groups from Strasburger & Price.

QSLWM, which is celebrating 25 years in business, has added a group of nine attorneys to its Plano office with a focus on defending clients against claims under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and other consumer protection statutes.

Paul Myers, who leads the Plano group, explained, “Our team is focused on representing defendants nationally and locally in consumer financial litigation. It’s a hot practice area right now and from our office in Plano, we can cover North Texas counties and beyond. We have already hired two new associates, expanding the office to 11 attorneys, and can foresee up to 30 attorneys in this office in the future.”

Joining Myers are shareholders Paul Sheldon, Marc Kirkland and Amanda Loughmiller, and associates Lauren Wood, Kristin Marker and James Acosta.  Myers added that, “The opportunities at Quilling Selander for our group to maintain our team culture and service model is exciting. We welcome the chance to join such a fine group of attorneys and support staff.”

Shareholder Mark Scudder has added his transportation practice to QSLWM’s downtown Dallas office, along with associate Amanda Costello. Scudder, who also handles commercial, products and professional liability litigation, said, “My incentive to move to QSLWM is based on how impressed I am with the positive energy and the depth of talented attorneys here. I can clearly see that the firm supports its attorneys and that is reflected in how robust and successful the individual practices are. I felt it was the perfect environment in which to grow my practice.”

Quilling Selander managing shareholder Lance Lewis said, “What a great year this is shaping up to be at Quilling Selander. It’s our 25th Anniversary and we are absolutely thrilled to add Mark and Paul and their practice groups.  Their expertise in consumer credit and transportation law will allow us to expand our representation of current clients and do work for new clients in these areas.”

Lewis added that, “We are also thrilled to be expanding our presence in Collin and Denton counties given the huge amount of growth in that area.  Paul and his team have been practicing in the Plano/Frisco area for 14 years, and we are excited about the opportunity to grow that office.”
