Practice Description
Mrs. Lopez focuses her practice on commercial litigation, banking, and consumer financial services litigation involving the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Prior to joining the firm, she represented financial institutions in complex bankruptcy matters, including adversary proceedings. Additionally, she has represented corporate debtors in bankruptcy cases filed under Chapter 7 and Chapter 11. Mrs. Lopez has also defended financial institutions in legal matters concerning the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, the Federal Debt Collection Practices Act, and the Texas Debt Collection Practices Act.
