Practice Description
Mr. York is board certified in business bankruptcy law and his practice involves all aspects of chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy and clients including bankruptcy trustees, debtors, secured creditors, landlords, purchasers of assets, and unsecured creditors.
Representative Experience
Assisted joint interest owners in recovering millions of dollars in payments from bankrupt operators in oil and gas bankruptcy cases
Assisted lenders in protecting liens and recovering payments or property in Chapter 11, Chapter 7 and consumer bankruptcy cases
Counsel to debtors in possession or trustee in Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases of debtors in various industries, including real estate, health care, retail, and food services, technology, and printing
Counsel to lenders and dealers in Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases of individuals and related litigation involving defense of foreclosure, and claims under RESPA, the FDCPA, and the TILA
Counsel to bankruptcy trustees in bankruptcy cases and related adversary proceedings resulting in the collection of millions of dollars of estate funds or property through preference actions, fraudulent transfer claims, and related bankruptcy litigation
